A turn-based browser RPG forged in ember and ash. Pick one of four classes — Warrior, Rogue, Mage, or Cleric — then fight through a dark-fantasy world, loot gear, complete quests, and promote into an elite specialization. Every boss you beat joins you as a companion, from the Stone Sentinel all the way to The Unmade. No download, no login — your run saves as you play.
Emberfall is a full turn-based RPG that runs in a browser tab — no launcher, no account, no wait. You pick a class, and that single choice shapes your whole run: the Warrior tanks, the Rogue crits, the Mage nukes, the Cleric outlasts. From there you level up, unlock skills, loot and equip gear, take on quests, and grind toward the moment your class promotes into one of eight elite specializations. Bosses aren't just walls — each one you defeat hands you a permanent companion. It's a lot of RPG for something you can start in one click.
Warrior (Block passive cuts all incoming damage), Rogue (25% crit, speed and poison), Mage (magic that scales with Intelligence), Cleric (Divine Grace heals you after surviving a hit). Each is defined by an always-on passive.
Each turn you pick Attack, Skill, Item, or Defend. Skills spend MP and apply burn, poison, bleed, stun, slow, or fortify. Enemies run fixed pattern cycles, so reading their next move matters as much as your own.
Around level 31 each class branches in two: Warrior → Paladin or Berserker; Rogue → Assassin or Shadowblade; Mage → Archmage or Warlock; Cleric → Bishop or Inquisitor — each with a powerful permanent passive.
Beat a boss, earn a companion. The Ash Wolf, Void Spirit, Stone Golem, Celestial Angel, and Hollow Familiar each add a passive bonus and a chargeable skill — pick one that covers your class's weak spot.
The Stone Sentinel is a three-phase test — a warning flash signals each shift, and the burst that follows is where runs die. Beyond it wait the Void Sovereign, the Primordial, The Ancient, and The Unmade in Stage VIII.
Collect weapons, armor, rings, and consumables, compare stats before you equip, and craft class sets. Stock healing items before a boss — the right potion at the right moment closes out a hard fight.
High HP and a Block passive. Paladin adds +15% defense; Berserker gains +5% attack for every 10% HP it's missing — a comeback machine.
25% crit and speed. Assassin makes poison ticks hit +30%; Shadowblade's bleed also drops enemy attack. Skill-cap payoff.
Magic scales with Intelligence. Archmage is +15% magic damage; Warlock restores 8% max HP on every kill so the glass cannon stops being fragile.
Divine Grace heals after hits. Bishop boosts all healing +20%; Inquisitor hits +25% harder against bosses — a targeted answer to hard content.
Everything you do persists automatically in your browser — your class, level, promotion, gear, gold, quests, companions, and achievements. There's no account to make and nothing to install; close the tab and pick up your run later on the same device. Because it's all local, Emberfall loads instantly and plays offline once open.
